We believe that Church should never be distilled down to a set of beliefs that everyone ascribes to. EVEN THE DEMONS BELIEVE. (James 2:19) We believe that we are called to reach people that nobody else is reaching and changing the Kingdom forever!
In order to remove roadblocks, we have made the decision to focus on the things that unite us, not the things that divide us.

Basic Beliefs
The Gospel
We believe that The Gospel is the key to everything. All of our faith, all of our works, every single verse in the Bible points back to it. Without the Gospel all you have is a bunch of rules that nobody could ever possibly follow. We believe that NOBODY makes it to heaven because of what they do or don't do, but only because of what JESUS did FOR you on the cross. (see "You" below.)

The Bible is God's Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives.

Trinity - God: Three in One
God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

The Father - God is great, God is good
God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good: He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

The Son - God became man
Jesus Christ is completely human, but at the same time completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are enemies of God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God's demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we could have life.

The Holy Spirit - God is always present
His presence assures us of our relationship withChrist. He guides believers into all truth, and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God's righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

You
You are a special creation of God, made in His own image. He created YOU as the crowning work of His creation. In the beginning, man was innocent of sin and was endowed by his Creator with freedom of choice. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. Through the temptation of Satan man transgressed the command of God, and fell from his original innocence whereby all of mankind... You, me, and everybody else, has inherited a nature and an environment inclined toward sin. So, we are hopelessly stuck in it.... Except for ONE THING: Only the grace of God can bring you or me into His holy fellowship and enable us to fulfill the creative purpose of God. God created you in His own image, and you are designed to live in fellowship with Him. God created every person from every race. Christ died for every person from every race; therefore, every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Salvation
Salvation is offered freely to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, and sanctification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
Regeneration (being born again)
This is a work of God's grace whereby believers become new creatures in Christ Jesus. It is a change of heart that the Holy Spirit brings through conviction of sin, to which the sinner responds in repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith are inseparable experiences of grace.
Repentance is a genuine turning from sin toward God. Faith is the acceptance of Jesus Christ and commitment of the entire personality to Him as Lord and Savior.
Justification (being forgiven)
When a person repents of his or her sin, God forgives completely of all sin you have committed in the past, and all sin you will commit in the future. He wipes clean the debt for sin that each individual owes. Justification brings the believer unto a relationship of peace and favor with God.
Sanctification (becoming holy)
The experience, beginning in regeneration, by which the believer is set apart to God's purposes, and is enabled to progress toward moral and spiritual maturity through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him. Growth in grace should continue throughout the regenerate person's life.

The Church
The church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ, to obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.

Baptism
Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward commitment. It is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer's death to sin. It is symbolic of the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Being a church ordinance, it is prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord's Supper.
The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
