Details
Groups operate on a trimester system, on for a few months, then off for a few weeks. We love the natural ebb and flow of the schedule, as it gives natural breaks for everyone during busier times.
Groups are "sermon-based," which means that we take key points of Sunday's message and go deeper with practical application into our lives. This is great, because everyone has the same level of preparation before the group meets, and nobody is the "resident expert." Everyone has a voice in the dialogue.

Life Groups
Doing Life Together

Life Groups are small groups where we attempt to do church the way God intended us to do it:
caring for one another, helping each other, encouraging one another, challenging each other, and
growing closer to Jesus together.

Life Groups aren't just for people INSIDE the group, but they are also for people OUTSIDE the group!
Each group in involved in cultivating relationships with young people and families outside our groups.

What Are Life Groups All About?

We do Life Groups to initiate and sustain life change through community. We believe that the application of God's word to our daily lives as we meet together and challenge each other is what produces that change.

Life Groups are designed to bring LIFE inside each group, and to influence those outside the group.

What Will We Be Talking About?

Our groups break down and discuss the message topic from the previous Sunday. The primary goal of our groups is applying Biblical truth to our daily lives through the relationships that are formed in your group.

When and Where do Groups Meet?

We currently meet in borrowed space on Sunday mornings for worship, but the church isn't about a building, after all... Groups meet in homes on various nights during the week. This allows for a much more personal time together.

What Kind of People Will Be In My Group?

People like you! You won't be assigned to a particular group... We encourage you to explore different groups and find your best fit. Each group will take on a little different personality, and will reflect the needs/gifts of the people within the group.

Will I Be Assigned To A Group?

We really believe that true relationships grow best from affinity, not assignment. You will have the opportunity to self-select a group on your own. Groups do, however, have a maximum capacity of 12 or so... So not all groups will be available all the time.

What If I Can't Find A Group That Fits Me?

We are small and just starting out... As we grow and offer more groups in more areas there will be a greater opportunity for you to get into a group that matches your needs. Being in a group is essential to feeling connected to our church. Therefore, try to be as flexible as you can when picking a group.

What If I Don't Like My Group?

Don't worry! We're sure you will love it... BUT, if for some reason you feel that your group is not for you, that's okay. Our groups will be TRIMESTER based, which means we will be "on" for a few months, then take a month off. When we start back up again for the next trimester, everyone is free to rejoin the life group, or join a new one! It is a great system.

How Can I Get Connected to a LifeGroup?
